Meet Tyche
Growing up alongside a visually impaired graphic designer shaped how Tyche sees the digital world. She witnessed firsthand how technology can either exclude or empower — and chose to dedicate her career to the latter.
After years as a UX designer and researcher — working with startups, scale-ups, and research institutions from Amsterdam to London to Los Angeles — Tyche found her calling in digital accessibility. The transition felt natural: her background in user research and interface design gave her a deep understanding of how people actually use digital products.
At Cardan Technobility, she spent two years helping companies and governments make their digital services accessible to everyone. Now, as Digital Accessibility Advisor at RIVM (the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment), she performs WCAG audits, delivers training, and advises on websites and applications.
